Power Gods

I saw The Ring Two without seeing The Ring first. After that I met Brian and Michael on top of a hill near the 56. It's in between Carmel Creek and Carmel Country. The top has a big open area with the remains of burnt trees everywhere. You could pull any of the trees out of the ground easily because there weren't any living roots holding them in, just big chunks of dirt on the bottoms. Flowers and The Doors. 12 inch Submarina meatball sub with pepperocinis.... mmmm. Home and lots of nothing with old and new music in between. The jar is half full

Just saw Garden State..... really good. I like the main character. I think the reason people like it is because there's at least something everyone can relate to in it. That guy was such an empty jar. I just realized how weird that metaphor is. I found out one of my favorite songs ever uses almost my exact metaphor I used in a play I wrote. "And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar and say man what're you doing here?" Creepy. I stole the idea from The Beatles I believe. "She keeps her face in a jar by the door. Who is it for?" Face was sanity at first and then it became anything and everything else. Two posts in one day. A semi-nonsense one and a lesser-semi-nonsense one.

Too Many Numbers

Well at least I found something to do when I'm bored. I'm always afraid I'll forget things I'm trying to remember. It's as if the remembered stuff is always in the back of my mind and if I put more there I'm bound to forget something else. Plus, the priority is backwards. I remember the useless stuff first.

Friday and Saturday were fun. Wherehouse. Looked through everything Rock and bought AC/DC - Stiff Upper Lip, The Guess Who - Extended Versions, Styx - Greatest Hits Part 2, and System of a Down - Toxicity. Ripping and cliffs with Mike. Driving and Starbucks with Mike, A, and V. Del Mar. Car. Brianette and Mike at the Highlands. Paul's house and dressing without Paul. Cowboy pimp, sailor/schoolgirl, another pimp.

Today I filled ten barrels with vegetation from our front yard. Bike ride with Paul and Paul. Passed Camino Del Sur and Rancho Penasquitos exit. 17 miles total. Music. Nothing. Something. yay.

I expected to do something with people today. I didn't, but oh well. Instead I went to Barnes & Noble to look for a book on music theory. I got caught looking at science books. Euler and Reimann and all those prime number people. I only spent a half hour there. I started to drive home and went straight on El Camino Real, thinking I'd take some long way home. Instead of turning right on Half Mile Drive I turned left because I'd never driven there. I found a section of Carmel Valley that was completely new to me. The Walrus was near the school but busy driving someone home so I just went home. Hello darkness my old friend.

Thursday was good. Potato + late = bad + cheesecake. I'm getting to know Encinitas better. Thursday Potato and I spewed (...) memories at our old school, older for me than him. We got Paul, drove, got kinda lost, and I think pizza was involved then chessecake and loss of gasoline.

Friday I drove to Paul's house right after school to drop Mike, Paul, and Jason off there. I then drove Taylor to the Highlands and I had to leave for an appointment. After the appointment I drove by the Highlands to get George, got Potato with a black cd, then went to Paul's. Lots of people were there throughout. I saw Pulp Fiction for the first time and some movie about an OCD crook with anxiety issues. Bible + Potato + Paul's bed + camera + little sleep = music.. but no? Also, muffins and random food.

Saturday I worked, picked up George, picked up Taylor, then picked up Paul. Moonlight, Manhatten Pizza, chess (Paul), exchange, Moonlight, something, Herschel's (closed), stuff, illegal donuts, and Potato's arrival. Everyone went in Potato's car from mine and I went home.

Today I burnt many cds. Potato picked me up, then Mike, Matthew (Beatles not Mac), and Taylor. Stone Steps beach I think was where we went. It's one down from Moonlight. I skipped many rocks. I'm becoming lazy with my blogging and I don't speak english. Lou's music store... good. Souplantation with Potato. Mike decided to go home instead. This is not for you. Speak in Jane and expansion.

i love the night

I live to see those rays slip away. The red fine light. Chillin' and cruisin'. More than one is fun but too many is a crowd. A car is an excellent place of gathering. A car can transport, it can sit, it can be a physical means of seperating oneself from the outside. A car can take you away from everything but bring you into everything at once. Many great words have been spoken in cars. The Cars. Memories. In my ears, in my eyes, in my skin. Good times, bad times...
