Thus I refute thee
Result of boredom in school: Squirrel Muffins. I shall now proceed to ramble about the most eventful days since my last post.
I met Jason (Chicago) for the first time on March 10. That weird connection thingamajig is in his head too... freaky stuff and no that wasn't really supposed to make sense. I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show on March 10/11. We walked in with about 10 people and by the end only three remained: Eric, V, and myself. Everyone trickled out slowly during the show. Most of the group was back for Denny's afterwards.
The Sunday after Rocky I ended up going to Kyle's apartment. It is exactly what I would expect of an apartment shared by college students. We watched the movie Ali and I got a 256mb USB stick. In-N-Out. The week that followed was full. Senioritis has started to kick in somewhat.
I went to a very small concert on Friday where many indie bands played. Most of the bands were local. It was the largest emo crowd I've ever seen. That's the first time I've ever seen an emo pit. I actually found a few bands I liked from that concert though. I think Get Back Loretta will be very popular after they release their first album.
Today (Sunday), Paul called and asked if I wanted to go to Julian. I wanted to see Paul and Jason before they leave and decided I was overdue for a Julian apple pie, so I went. The trip was fun, but they ran out of pies in Julian. We went to San Ysabel (the place where the Julian Pie Company pies are made) and they had run out of pies there too. Oh well... the hot apple cider and the apple walnut muffin were very good. Time for another week of school.
