Welcome to the grand illusion

I am in one of those moods. It's the kind of mood where you think "life sucks" but life is really not that bad. It's one of those moods where you'll look back and realize you were just trying to find something to complain about. It's all an illusion. It's just a show and it will end.

Thursday was a nice break. Weezer... Manu Chao? Friday was really nice. The Hitchhiker's Guide movie was very funny. Ford is so cool. Saturday I ran around the neighborhood to let off steam. I ended up at the school and then at Anthony's house. Brian picked me up at the spot and I eventually went to Paul's house. David and Jason were there. 2 Fast 2 Furious. I helped make dinner. I ate so much dinner and dessert. Brian and Mike (not mikrasov) arrived after David and Jason left and we watched Swordfish. The pink bunny omg. Music.

This morning I drove home to switch cars with my dad, drove back to Paul's house, drove Mike home, and then got stuck in traffic on the way back to Paul's house. It took me over an hour to get from the Del Mar Heights exit to the Villa De La Valle exit on the 5. I travelled about 2 miles in one hour. When I got to Paul's house after the hour long burning hot trip with radio static I realized I had no reason to be there so I walked in, said hello, ate three plain pancakes, said goodbye, and left. I think I'm going to make a Dennis DeYoung mix cd based around his voice. Then maybe I'll make a Tommy Shaw one and a Bon Scott one.

  • so you did make an entry about complaining. Sort of. I got stuck in traffic this morning too near the Fairgrounds. Wasn't fun... Dad and brother got pretty ticked off at eachother in the car. Apparently, our family doesn't do very well in traffic. :)

  • I was angry that I got stuck and no one else was in my car. I resorted to calling random people and complaining. They really should have worked out the traffic situation for the fairgrounds better.

  • I was skeptical about Hitchhiker's Guide.... I think that a book of such "cult classic" status should not be entrusted to a company like Disney. But then again, I haven't seen it yet. Did they do Douglas justice?
