AntiG4TechTV is planning on buying TechTV from G4! They are accepting donations to raise between 400 and 600 million dollars. This is the one thing that I would really like to have changed on tv. I used to watch TechTV with Leo and Patrick almost every day when it used to be 1.5 hours long. Then it went down to 1 hour long, then Leo left, then the merger, then Patrick left. Now most of the cast and crew is being gutted out and the Pulse cast is replacing them.

For all you Leo fans out there he's on Saturday and Sunday from 1200 - 1500 in LA on KFI 640 AM. Luckly we get that here in San Diego also. For those not near LA the online WMA stream is at mms://ccdig.liquidviewer.com/kfi

If theoretically they restored tech tv... maybe they would be nice enough to move it to normal cable.
Us poor folk can't afford digital goodness.
However judging by the site I wouldn't put my faith in any of this working.

I would love to hear of the revival or reinvention of that format! It seems that too often, money buys or destroys intellegent shows, sites, or other societally enriching endevours only to use them for its own narrow vision, thereby destroying them, and chasing their adherents away.
